Having studied Visual Communication, specialising in Photography at The Glasgow School of Art she gained a wide range of experience working with established photographers and directors. Working with renowned photographer Emma Summerton for over 5 years she learnt how to create cinematic lighting and the beauty of imagery through Emma’s unique style. Leading her to have an acute aesthetic eye to go along side her passion for creating compelling human stories as a film editor.

She has a wide range of experience from cutting factual documentaries for BBC broadcast, exhibition films for National Museums, fashion films and TV commercials. She has a strong sense of narrative and structure and knows how to create the perfect emotion with pacing in her work. 

Her studio is based all at Bloc collective in Leith along with other film makers with an edit suite available. Lindsay is delighted to be selected for the BFI NETWORK x BAFTA Crew 2021. She enjoys working in collaboration with directors, producers and creative teams to create a compelling story. She would also love to hear about your projects and work on new and exciting opportunities.
