Tigerlily Two based in Glasgow forms part of the Tigerlily Production companies.

A multi-award winning and BAFTA nominated production company, Tigerlily’s output covers scripted, factual and feature films.

Tigerlily Productions have a stellar track record in creating award winning and innovative films both in factual and fiction.  On the factual side, our output ranges across arts, music, current affairs and history, including most recently the Imagine for BBC1 about artist Olafur Eliasson, WORKING WITH WEINSTEIN the first film about Harvey Weinstein for C4, INSIDE PREMIER INN the most highly rated Dispatches ever about Premier Inn, OPERA MUMS a film with the English National Opera and performance artist Bryony Kimmings for BBC, and MEDITATIONS FROM THE MONASTERY for BBC4 which involved negotiating sensitive access to three monasteries in the UK.  Other films include several internationally distributed and theatrically released feature documentaries, many for the prestigious BBC STORYVILLE strand, ranging from THE LOVERS AND THE DESPOT in North Korea to ONLY WHEN I DANCE in Rio’s favelas to DOLCE VITA AFRICANA in photographer Malick Sidibe’s studio in Bamako, Mali to FOOTPRINTS in Afghanistan about cluster bombs to AFTER THE APOCALYPSE about the aftermath of the Soviet Union’s nuclear testing programme to NAPLES 44 about Italy’s wartime history.  We’ve also made more intimate documentaries such as MR ALZHEIMERS AND ME about children who have grandparents with dementia and MISSING DAD about the experience of kids with parents in prison.

Tigerlily Two’s scripted slate includes a six-part comedy drama currently in development with Channel 4, an adaptation of Sunday Times Bestselling Author Christopher Brookmyre’s novel WHERE THE BODIES ARE BURIED, an adaptation of new author Daisy McNally’s I SEE THROUGH YOU and an original true crime series all being developed with support from Creative Scotland

Tigerlily Two is also executive producing  Poly Styrene: I am a Cliché a feature doc which will premiere at Glasgow Film festival this month and SBSW in June, It will screen as a Sky Original in March and was supported by Creative Scotland

They are developing a feature documentary set in Hong Kong which is being developed with funding by BFI Doc Society and Creative Scotland

Over the last 12 months Tigerlily have delivered over 10 hours of TV Commissions ranging from current affairs to documentaries for major UK broadcasters BBC and Channel 4.

 They have just delivered a one off film to BBC in which performance artist and writer Bryony Kimmings created an opera based on the experiences of single mums, and are in pre production for a BBC Arena feature doc set in Haiti.  Their feature films, including the psychological thrillers THE ONES BELOW starring David Morrissey and Clemence Posey, and REMAINDER starring Tom Sturridge and Cush Jumbo, have premiered at Sundance and Berlin film festivals, been released theatrically worldwide, and sold to platforms such as Netflix and Amazon.

In 2018, Founders Natasha Dack & Nikki Parrott were invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (OSCARS)
