Rachel's story:
Documentary editor and NFTS graduate.

I'm an editor focusing mainly on documentary. I have a Masters in Editing from the National Film and Television School and a 1st class degree in Media Practice from the University of the Arts London. I have been a participant of BAFTA Crew for the last three years.

As an editor, recent work has premiered at Sheffield Doc/Fest and Encounters festivals, received Grierson and IDA nominations and been featured by Vimeo Short of the Week.

My broadcast credits also include a range of assistant and additional editing roles on series such as Life and Birth (BBC2), Ambulance (BBC1), Who Should Get to Stay in the UK? (BBC2), The Secret Teacher (C4), Our Cops in the North (BBC1) and Surgeons: At the Edge of Life (BBC 2).

My passion is for intimate, compelling, character/participant-led stories, whether that's explored through a classic observational/retrospective approach or a more experimental form.

I have my own edit suite running Avid and Premiere as needed. Based in Dundee but happy to travel for work. Further information and my CV is available here:
