Sarah Thomas Moffat is an experienced Cinematographer of 25+ years. Photography and sports were her childhood interests, nurtured by her parents from Scotland, while she grew up in Toronto Canada. Backpacking, college, and internships in film and tv led Sarah to the CSC. Completing a CSC Film Camera Assistant’s training course very early in her PA days, she soon became a desired technician in the Toronto commercial industry. Since then Sarah has worked her way up through all genres, becoming a Series Director of Photography in broadcast tv. Earning 3x CSC nominations in different genres, a Telly Award, and multiple film festival awards for Best Cinematography; in both docs and narrative. Currently a member of IATSE, a CSC Associate Member, and an ASC Vision Mentee. Sarah has expanded her career to LA with US residency, while focusing on narrative story collaborations. Sarah has UK and CAD citizenship, and US residency; travels internationally often. Smiles a lot.
