Emerging shooting director with nine years of experience in video journalism.

I started my career at STV News before getting a place on Channel 4 News's Investigative Journalism Training scheme. I then freelanced with indies for a few years as a Researcher and then an AP, before making a lateral move into daily news with BBC Scotland's The Nine.

I worked as a digital climate producer for Channel 4 News in the run-up to COP26, before moving into my current role as a video journalist on the BBC's flagship technology television programme, Click. I shoot, produce, direct and edit short films about technology, and the job takes me around the world. 

I directed my first 20-minute documentary for BBC iPlayer in the summer of 2023 and am keen to move into directing longer feature documentaries. 

I am passionate about mental health, under-represented communities and global issues.
