Sinead's story
I’m a self-shooting documentary researcher with a passion for stories that challenge perceptions and spark meaningful discussion: especially in science, natural history, and environmental issues. With a zoology and ecology background, I bring both scientific rigour and creative storytelling to every project.
Experienced in contributor research, fact-checking, archive sourcing, and remote shooting across challenging environments—from rainforests to savannahs. Proficient with Sony FX/FS cameras, Avid editing, and quick problem-solving to support production teams.
My credits include research roles on factual entertainment and natural history projects for BBC (Horrible Science), and NFTS productions. I also direct and shoot self-produced documentaries with a focus on human-wildlife relationships and environmental themes.
Based in Glasgow and available for freelance roles UK-wide, I’m eager to collaborate on documentaries that push boundaries and elevate authentic voices.
